Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 16 September 2026
1. Scope
The free Grant Control Risk Check and call are preliminary management tools. The paid Grant Control Diagnostic is a 90-minute structured operational review with a current-state scorecard, written findings, priority actions and a recommended next step, subject to the information supplied and any written proposal or booking confirmation.
2. Professional boundary
We provide operational-control and management-information services. We do not provide statutory accounting, audit, independent examination, tax or legal advice, investigate suspected fraud or certify regulatory or funder compliance. You remain responsible for decisions, records, filings and specialist advice.
3. Eligibility and information
The service is intended principally for organisations and business users managing awarded funding. You must provide accurate, lawful and reasonably complete information and must not provide unnecessary beneficiary-level or special-category personal data. We may decline or stop work that falls outside scope or creates legal, ethical or professional risk.
4. Price and payment
The Diagnostic costs £495 plus applicable VAT and is payable in advance through Stripe. The price and tax due are shown before payment. The full net Diagnostic fee is credited against a Grant Control Setup commissioned within 30 calendar days of the Diagnostic, unless the written proposal says otherwise.
5. Booking, cancellation and refunds
You may reschedule once without charge by giving at least two business days’ notice. If you cancel with at least two business days’ notice before the Diagnostic begins, we will refund the amount paid. Cancellations with less notice and non-attendance are normally non-refundable, although we may agree a replacement date at our discretion. Once the Diagnostic has begun, the fee is non-refundable except where we fail to supply the agreed service. Any mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
6. Delivery
Dates depend on timely access to the agreed information and attendees. Findings are based on the evidence made available and are not a guarantee of a particular outcome, funding decision, cost saving or compliance result.
7. Confidentiality and data
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information and use it only for the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law or authorised. Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
We retain ownership of our pre-existing methods, templates and know-how. After full payment, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the organisation-specific deliverables internally. You may not resell or publish our methods or templates without written permission.
9. Liability
Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our total liability arising from the Diagnostic is limited to the fees paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, funding or opportunity. You are responsible for implementing recommendations and obtaining regulated advice where needed.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
